Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.
The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.
Responsibilities
Radical responsibility and ownership:
Own your portfolio from day one. Rapid learning, iteration, and tenacity are key as you lead and shape the ideas and actions that get things done.
Customer obsession:
Work closely with clients to grok their challenges and missions from first principles and translate that back to your colleagues.
Technical curiosity:
Work directly with Swarm Aero engineers to build relevant products for your client’s operational needs, continually learning about customer needs and how technology can serve them.
Seek and find:
Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities and contribute ideas to others on your team.
Structure:
Provide organization and insight to complex pools of information to enable clear transfer of perspectives. Generate effective communications in artifacts such as white papers, proposals, presentations, and analysis for internal and external audiences.
Organize and scale:
Manage complex accounts and relationships efficiently and precisely, leading mission execution and bringing organization to many parallel threads as the company grows.
Qualifications
Moved with urgency to make big things happen
Experience with complex hardware and software systems
Experience managing complex technical projects
Experience in business development, productization, and contracting
