Product Manager, Access and Data Products
Visa’s Processing and Network Products team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead initiatives in Access and Data Products.
You will be part of the Access and Data Product group within Processing and Network Products. Our team is focused on developing new and modern VisaNet access capability for Visa clients, developing new VisaNet API based processing capability for clients, creating new state-of-the-art modernized data reporting and delivery channel capabilities and enhancing our large portfolio of access and data products to serve our clients' needs and drive additional revenue and capabilities for Visa. We are part of thebroader Platform and Product Management organization, which is responsible for driving the way we innovate, design, build, and releaseproducts to our customers.
As a Product Manager in this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative, scalable, and secure solutions that will help introduce the next generation of network and access products—critical to Visa’s strategic modernization efforts. Your work will directly impact how we deliver these innovative solutions across the payment's ecosystem, including issuers, acquirers, merchants, and commercial clients.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, architecture, UX, risk, and compliance), external partners – including technology and industry giants such as Amazon, Microsoft and Google, and global cross-functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and drive execution. You will also engage with clients and partners to co-create solutions, prototype new capabilities, and bring pilots to market.
Essential Functions
Partner with product, engineering and architecture teams to help develop the next generation of VisaNet data and reporting capabilities as part of Visa’s larger Open VisaNet (OVN) processing modernization effort
Strong understanding of VisaNet reporting and processing functions, including authorization, clearing and settlement is required.
Support the development and enhancement of VisaNet processing API’s that deliver next gen processing capabilities for issuer, acquirers and processors
Engage with clients and partners to gather feedback, validate concepts, and drive adoption.
Evangelize new capabilities internally and externally and support commercialization efforts.
Have analytical-solving skills in order to assess the uniqueness of each integration and how it can fit into a consistent and overall product offering
Work with the regional product teams to understand individual market needs and challenges in order to prioritize enhancements on the roadmap

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelors Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD. UR Only: MBA/ PhD degree without experience.
Strong product development skills with a sound understanding of VisaNet processing, payment technology, risk and fraud management, other ecosystem requirements
5+ years of experience in the payments industry
(e.g. payment processing, acquiring, payment technology provider, payment brand etc.)
3+ years of experience in technical or business product management (business case development to P&L management)
3+ years' experience with Cloud enabled payment processing and data modernization technologies, including AI capabilities
Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Aptitude to collaborate with engineering teams to build robust, reliable and scalable payment solutions
Highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts
Ability to think creatively to solve problems
Organizational and leadership abilities to influence, negotiate and drive results
Experience working with external partners in collaborative development
Experience and knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
