Security Director

Revive Wesleyan Church is seeking a dedicated Safety and SecurityDirector to lead our Safety and Security Ministry. This role combines spiritual leadership with operational oversight, ensuring the safety of staff, congregants, children, and church facilities. Location: McKinley Campus Job Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor volunteers, fostering a culture of trust, professionalism, and ministry service. Recruit, train, and evaluate volunteers; conduct monthly exercises and team-building drills. Oversee security during preschool hours (~20 hrs./week), Sunday services, and special events. Maintain policies, records, incident logs, and volunteer documentation. Partners with church leadership, medical personnel, law enforcement, and external trainers for emergency preparedness and specialized training. Assist with budget preparation, grant applications, and facility security enhancements. Qualifications: Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Revive’s mission. Leadership and pastoral care experience in ministry or volunteer settings. Experience in safety, security, law enforcement, or military preferred. Knowledge of firearms safety and ability to manage confidential information. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Comfortable leading prayer, scripture devotion, and ministry discussions. Schedule & Commitment: Weekly preschool coverage (~20 hours/week) plus ministry oversight. Sunday morning services and special events. Monthly Saturday training sessions and Monday evening meetings. Flexibility for emergencies or urgent security matters.
