Our sports medicine client is seeking a seasoned
Finance/Industrial Controller
to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across our manufacturing operations. In this newly created role, you will serve as a strategic partner to both finance and operations teams, driving cost efficiency, performance insights, and data‑backed decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for production, inventory, and operations
Manage product costing, variance analysis, and root cause investigations
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning for manufacturing functions
Monitor KPIs (efficiency, yield, waste, resource utilization) and deliver actionable insights
Collaborate with plant, supply chain, and operations teams to optimize costs and support investment projects
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Drive automation and digital transformation in financial reporting
Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives (e.g., capex, make‑or‑buy studies)
Assist with financial consolidation and reporting packages
Participating in inventory counts and asset reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (min) – Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business strongly preferred
5+ years (finance, cost accounting, or controller)
Industrial cost control experience
Manufacturing industry experience
Strong cost accounting and ERP system expertise
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, SQL, Access)
Financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and process improvement
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration
Self‑starter with strong analytical and organizational skills
Work closely with USA and International teams
Interact with internal departments (Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, etc.) and external partners (vendors, auditors)
Limited travel required
