"When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means."
Nestled in the South Tower of Ping An Finance Centre, the crown jewel of Shenzhen’s central business district, Park Hyatt Shenzhen soars above the cityscape, offering a breathtaking vista where urban dynamism harmonizes with natural panoramas. As a luxury gem within the Hyatt portfolio, the hotel masterfully intertwines Eastern aesthetics with contemporary artistry. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg under the concept of a “scholar’s retreat”, it creates an oasis of serenity and sophistication amid the bustling metropolis.
The hotel features 195 spacious guestrooms and suites, each adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of Shenzhen’s skyline or the distant peaks of Hong Kong. Culinary artistry takes center stage at three distinctive dining venues, where guests embark on a gastronomic journey through authentic Cantonese delicacies, innovative Western cuisine, and sky-high afternoon tea experiences. State‑of‑the‑art event spaces cater to academic forums and global conferences, blending technology with elegance.
Rooted in Hyatt’s ethos of “We care for people so they can be their best”, Park Hyatt Shenzhen is celebrated globally for its uncompromising quality and human‑centric philosophy. Beyond hospitality excellence, the hotel serves as a platform for cultivating international talent in luxury service, pioneering innovative pathways for industry‑academia collaboration.
