Job Description Reporting tothe Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Director of OutcomesAssessment leads and develops a comprehensive assessment program to support theCollege’s mission.
work collaboratively with faculty, administrators and staff in theimprovement, reporting and analysis of outcomes assessment activities toenhance curricular and clinical student learning activities
participate inthe collection and analysis of assessment data to effectively inform programreview
provides regular reports(quantitative and qualitative) feedback and recommendations to the College
develop and administer evaluation instruments and rubrics to measure learningoutcomes, curricular effectiveness and teaching activities during thepre-clinical and clinical phases of the DVM program
manage key performance indicators,benchmarks and the ongoing assessment program, ensure that assessment outcomesare in compliance with accreditation standardsand
keep internal and external stakeholders informed
Qualifications Must havePh.D. in Educational Research and Evaluation or related field. Must havethree (3) years of related experience including assessment of oversight ofstudent performance and course program evaluation including data analysis andreport preparation and presentation.Preference will be given toindividuals with expertise in higher education/health profession assessment andaccreditation.
