Executive Director
to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the development, grand opening, and ongoing success of our new luxury senior living community in
Falls Church. Benefits:

Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day operations, including full P & L responsibility. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Create a safe environment for residents, families, and team members. Ensure adherence to the Resident’s Rights. Focus on resident, family, and team member satisfaction. Analyze data, identify root causes, and develop action plans as necessary. Develop and implement strategies for labor, occupancy growth, revenue growth, expense control, and quality of services. Lead morning stand-up meetings and ensure minutes are taken. Communicate effectively in listening, oral, and written forms. Support sales and operational strategies, educating team members on the importance of participation in the sales process. Partner with the Director of Sales for quarterly SWOT analysis and ongoing discussions on sales/marketing strategies. Coordinate with the Director of Health and Wellness to ensure care needs of residents are met and assessed appropriately. Work with the Director of Memory Care to address challenges and support dementia training for team members. Coordinate with the Director of Life Enrichment to ensure a robust activity calendar. Work with the Director of Culinary to ensure menu variety and quality. Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance on building concerns and preventative maintenance. Implement and adhere to the Employee Appreciation program monthly. Ensure timely completion of employee performance reviews. Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating team members. Participate in creating the annual operation budget and managing department budgets. Build high-performing teams and support company culture. Be flexible to work in various positions and fill in as necessary. Implement a ‘Manager On Duty’ system for community leadership coverage. Engage in local community activities and maintain a network for referrals. May drive company vehicles to social events. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field. Required certification for Residential Care Facilities based on state regulations. 3-5 years of experience in operations management with success in financial and sales goals. Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to this community. Experience in maintaining a quality customer service workforce. Ability to maintain a hospitality environment for all stakeholders. Understanding of facilities management. Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining team members. Strong performance management and leadership skills. Basic knowledge of computer systems and software platforms used by the company. Ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications as required. Acceptable driving record per company policy. Ability to influence others and solve problems with sound judgment. Ability to set realistic goals and objectives. Strong verbal communication skills, even under pressure. Ability to innovate and generate solutions. Experience in resource allocation and goal achievement. Build productive relationships with all stakeholders. Model professionalism and punctuality. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
