Benefits Account Executive
to join our growing team in
Jacksonville, FL . The Benefits Account Manager provides support to employee benefit lines by maintaining, expanding, and servicing assigned accounts. How You Will Contribute: New Business marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting employee benefit lines. Spend up to 10% of the time outside of the office with clients. Renewal marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting assigned employee benefit accounts. New Business & Renewal Underwriting including, but not limited to gathering missing enrollment information and all underwriting status follow-up. Work directly with group administrators to assist and educate on the proper administration procedures, State & Federal COBRA, additions & termination and all other administrative procedures. Assist employees with unresolved claim issues while educating them on the claims processing system. Develop and maintain working relationships with the various company marketing representatives and underwriters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the various carriers’ rating plans and programs. Maintain favorable relationships with clients, producers, and employees. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of employee benefit lines of coverage and rating. Licenses and Certifications: Resident Health & Life (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts (2-15). Skills & Experience to Be Successful: Proficient with MS Office Suite. Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all employee benefits insurance coverage. 4-year college degree (Preferred). 5+ years industry experience (Preferred).
