Python Developer (Django) Healthcare Tech Project
We are looking for a Python Developer with strong Django expertise to join our team and work on an exciting healthcare tech project that involves real-time data processing and medical imaging (DICOM). No prior DICOM experience is requiredwell provide the necessary training! If youre passionate about backend development, WebSockets, and scalable APIs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a Django-based backend for handling medical imaging data. Build RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF) for secure data exchange. Implement WebSockets for real-time updates and event-driven communication. Work with Python libraries like pydicom and pynetdicom (DICOM knowledge is a plus but not required). Integrate with third-party PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and DICOM servers. Ensure data security & compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR). Ideal Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience with Python & Django. Django REST Framework (DRF) Strong understanding of API design. WebSockets (Django Channels, FastAPI, or similar) for real-time communication. Experience with Redis & Celery for background task processing. Familiarity with Docker, PostgreSQL, and authentication systems (JWT, OAuth). Willingness to learn and work with DICOM libraries (prior experience is a plus). Bonus Skills: Experience with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar). Knowledge of DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP. Why Join Us?
