Environmental Services Associate II at Brigham and Women's Hospital Responsibilities

Performs cleaning duties in alignment with the organization and according to pre-established schedules and infection control guidelines. Completes waste stream removal. According to established procedures clean and service assigned areas. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the Medical Center departments, and perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. Operates assigned equipment, including floor machines and buffers. Participates in a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually. Maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times. Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Experience Related experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely; working knowledge of various cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
