Part‑time Experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative
Join VCA Peninsula Animal Hospital and help deliver excellent customer service and professional medical care to our clients and their pets. As the face of VCA, you will set the tone for the practice and build trust with each customer.
Responsibilities
Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
Scheduling and confirming appointments.
Placing outbound calls for follow‑ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
Answering questions about products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non‑medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
Maintaining hospital cleanliness—including removal of animal waste—and ensuring the facility is neat both inside and outside.
Requirements Applicant must have flexible hours and Saturday availability.
Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $18–$19 per hour. Compensation negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
