Director of Quality Management
Position at Select Specialty Hospital, a critical illness recovery hospital (LTACH) committed to world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services. We seek a leader who champions the Select Medical Way, prioritizing patient care, quality improvement, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating all survey activities to assure facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
Organizing monthly interdisciplinary QAPI Team meetings per QAPI Calendar.
Receiving and reviewing quarterly quality improvement reports.
Assisting the Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities.
Leading the hospital team in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) at least annually and for every level 3‑4 incident, unless otherwise indicated.
Completing monthly quality related data entry, analysis and reporting.
Focusing on the importance of employee training and education in the workplace.
Working with leadership team to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Minimum Requirements
Registered Nurse with valid state license. Legacy employees may have other clinical licensure.
Experience in at least one core area: Quality, Survey Readiness, Risk Management, Infection Control, Employee Health and Education.
Familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
