What this job involves
As an HVAC Technician at JLL, you'll be at the heart of creating comfortable, sustainable environments that enable our clients and their occupants to thrive. In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across diverse commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. You'll work as part of a collaborative team that embraces innovative approaches to building operations, contributing to JLL's mission of shaping a brighter way for our clients and communities. What your day‑to‑day will look like
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and rooftop units Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in commercial HVAC systems Conduct routine inspections and testing of building automation systems and controls Respond to tenant comfort complaints and emergency service calls promptly and professionally Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance data Collaborate with facility management teams to optimize energy efficiency and system performance Support sustainability initiatives through proper equipment operation and energy conservation practices Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with completion of HVAC technical training program 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair Valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and building automation systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Preferred qualifications
Associate's degree in HVAC technology or related field Additional certifications such as NATE, AAON, or manufacturer‑specific training Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainable building practices Commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one Previous experience in commercial real estate or property management environments Location

74,000.00 – 83,200.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
