Overview
We are seeking a BE/BC OBGYN Physician to serve as an OB Hospitalist at OSF Little Company of Mary. Join an established, team-based staff of OBGYN physicians, hospitalist and nursing staff. Requires 3, 12 hour in house shifts a week and 1 day of in house call a week. Spacious L&D suites. EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities
Provide OB hospitalist coverage as part of a team of OBGYN physicians, hospitalists and nursing staff.
Collaborate with the OB/GYN department to deliver patient-centered care in the hospital setting.
Adhere to hospital policies and use EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
Maintain timely in-house coverage as specified (3 shifts of 12 hours per week; 1 day of in-house call per week).
Escalate emergencies and coordinate with labor and delivery staff as needed.

Standard rate of $158.50/hour. This is a salaried position.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Doctorate. Licenses/Certifications: Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
