Job Overview
We seek a skilled principal software developer to lead the design, implementation, and development of dynamic account opening and account maintenance applications. The role involves leading stand‑up meetings, overseeing code reviews, tackling complex coding tasks, guiding the team through design and architecture discussions, and mentoring senior and junior developers. Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and development of dynamic account opening and account maintenance applications. Explore and implement AI‑based solutions to enhance the account opening and client onboarding systems. Provide technical leadership through design and implementation of industry best practices adhering to LPL’s modernization practices, cloud practices, SDLC, and release management processes. Develop positive relationships with business partners to understand needs, manage expectations, and support translation of problem statements into system requirements. Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and show success through KPIs. Full application life‑cycle coordination and management of deliverables in alignment with best practices and organizational compliance goals. Collaborate with other shared services teams (technical and non‑technical) to ensure solutions and platforms are both functional and sustainable. Use customer and business feedback to inform roadmaps and non‑functional goals. Desired Skills & Competencies
12+ years of hands‑on full‑stack development. Proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework. Ability to create and consume RESTful services. Strong understanding of Angular concepts such as components, modules, services, and dependency injection. Understanding of responsive design principles. Knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Experience with IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. Utilizing AI‑powered tools like Copilot for code generation. Leveraging AI to provide intelligent code completions and bug detection. Code refactoring and documentation generation using AI. CI/CD using GitHub repositories. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently. Effective planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks using tools and resources. Pay Range
