Senior Litigation Associate
International law firm with over 120 years of success is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team in San Francisco. This role will involve working on complex, high‑value disputes involving commercial, insurance, maritime, and transportation matters.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation and arbitration, from pre‑trial to resolution.
Handle federal and state insurance claims, including coverage and indemnity issues.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
Take and defend depositions; represent clients in court.
Contribute to business development through writing, networking, and events.
Qualifications
J.D. and active California Bar membership.
7–10 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment.
Experience with insurance defense, broker liability, and FAAAA preemption.
Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills.
Familiarity with managing complex, multi‑jurisdictional disputes.
