About The Role Reporting directly to Innocap’s Global Head of Structuring, you will help establish managed account platforms on behalf of our clients, including managing and negotiating relevant documentation with trading counterparties. You will coordinate with internal departments—treasury, risk, due diligence, investor relations, accounting, operations, compliance—and external parties—investment managers, trading counterparties, external legal counsel, tax advisors. This client‑facing role requires strong relationship management skills and a thorough knowledge of investment funds, trading documentation and financial instruments.
Responsibilities
Negotiate and manage counterparty tradig documentation, including ISDA and CSAs, Prime Brokerage, Term Financing (Lockups), Repo, Security Lending, Futures, Cleared Derivatives and other relevant trading agreements.
Ensure all trade documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal and client policies.
Coordinate with trading counterparties to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and ensure documentation accurately reflects agreed‑upon terms.
Provide expert advice on documentation‑related issues and contribute to development of documentation templates.
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Manage projects related to trade documentation, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for trading counterparties, managing and developing these key relationships.
In time, participate in client presentations and meetings as a counterparty trade documentation expert.
Qualifications & Skills
Member of a relevant bar association or the equivalent.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in drafting and negotiating trade documentation.
Strong knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of securities and financial markets (with focus on US/Cayman legal issues).
Proven ability to lead large‑scale firm projects while maintaining a proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to work.
Good relationship management skills with the ability to articulate information to internal and external stakeholders, especially clients.
Detail‑oriented, thorough, resourceful with a proven ability to stay organized and manage work in a timely manner.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English is required.
