Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and patient histories.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide clear medical information and foster a patient-centered approach.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
Perform required medical procedures.
Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff for further diagnostic evaluation and interdisciplinary case discussions.
Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes to enhance patient care and safety.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Engage in ongoing medical education and training to remain abreast of advances and best practices.
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Valid and unrestricted state medical license.
Where You'll Work CHI Health Clinic in Missouri Valley, Iowa, offers a community-centered, family medicine team environment. The position supports both new graduates and experienced physicians and aligns with the long-standing mission to enhance the quality of life in Harrison County.
Opportunity Offers
Clinic hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
No on‑call duty.
Flexible and independent practice style.
Experienced team environment.
Excellent benefit package, including CME.
Compensation Pay range: $127.40 – $132.21 per hour.
