Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

MedStar Health is seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour a week, 4‑10 Tuesday‑Friday CT Technologist in the Baltimore‑Washington metro region. This position includes a 1 pm–11:30 pm shift schedule.
Primary Duties
Perform CT scan studies, including abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, and gynecologic examinations.
Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
Conduct CT techniques and procedures for radiation therapy localization, treatment planning, and minor surgical procedures.
Administer IV access and contrast injections per departmental policy.
Request and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Review and evaluate completed scans for quality, completeness, and appropriateness.
Transport patients to the CT room and prepare the room for daily activities.
Qualifications
Certified in computer‑assisted tomography.
CT experience or completion of a certified CT program.
ARRT or NMTCB license with required paperwork to perform diagnostic CTs on file with the state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Hiring range:
USD $35.68 – $58.84 per hour.
