Managing Director, Business Development Officer (BDO) . This individual will play a pivotal role in cultivating relationships and ensuring referred clients are successfully connected with the firm’s wealth advisors.
In this influential role, you’ll build relationships that drive growth and create lasting impact. You’ll serve as a trusted bridge between financial consultants and the firm’s wealth advisory team—turning introductions into lifelong client relationships. You’ll have the autonomy to lead growth initiatives, the resources of a national platform, and the support of a collaborative, high‑performing culture that celebrates innovation, results, and professional excellence. What You’ll Be Doing:

Communicate the firm’s unique value proposition and full range of services with clarity and consistency.
Represent the firm at events, client gatherings, and symposiums.
Source new prospective clients through referrals, COIs, and networking.
Educate potential clients on the firm’s advisory approach and wealth management solutions.
Lead the client discovery process to fully understand financial objectives and needs.
Collaborate with wealth advisors to seamlessly transition new clients and ensure a first‑class experience.
Maintain proactive communication with various teams regarding referral progress.
Use Salesforce and other tools to manage pipelines, track outcomes, and report progress.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
10+ years of proven success in financial services sales or business development.
Track record of meeting or exceeding business growth and revenue goals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).
Series 65 or 66 license preferred.
CFP® or other professional planning designation a plus.
