Inova is actively pursuing an Epic Gold Stars Level 9 designation and is proud to be a national leader in EHR. Our clinicians have access to designated physician informatics specialists within their specialty for training. We leverage cutting‑edge technology—including a robust telemedicine platform—to deliver efficient, personalized care.

Primary Care Physician Job Responsibilities
Provides safe and effective care to ambulatory patients.
Teamwork/Coordination of Care:
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others. Exhibits respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines and uses an integrated approach to achieve desired patient outcomes. Evidence-Based.
Practice/Learning:
Uses evidence‑based standards, guidelines, and protocols to the delivery of patient care. Incorporates new information and approaches, when appropriate, to continuously improve patient care and practice.
Professionalism / Professional Development:
Ensures ongoing growth and development of clinical skills and knowledge by assuming responsibility for lifelong learning. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, also serves as a resource and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills through participation in program development.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Prior experience required.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
Licensure:
Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain.
Payor Credentialing:
Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
Medical Staff Credentialing:
Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in Primary Care.
Positions available for Full Time/Part Time/PRN and various facilities. You can be considered for any position in the following counties/service areas in Northern Virginia.
