Responsibilities

Select materials, building systems and equipment; procure, expedite, distribute and return all materials/tools related to the project; maintain controls to monitor and evaluate cost-to-estimate for work completed; identify and report variances; forecast project costs and margins.

Coordinate, supervise and manage field personnel, including on‑site meetings; conduct extensive survey of the job site.

Maintain all project records to company standards, including daily logs and monthly owner reports; verify and expedite invoicing; investigate and resolve overdue accounts receivable.

Monitor and manage all costs incurred during the project; evaluate site, improvements, constructability, labor and material availability.

Submit permit applications and inspection requests; submit shop drawings, samples, cut sheets and as‑built drawings.

Utilize document‑management software such as Bluebeam to organize and coordinate project documentation and tracking (drawings, change orders, correspondence, RFIs, etc.).

Respond to and resolve client complaints and concerns, including personal meetings as needed.

Assist with project site safety standards; participate in routine safety huddles and walkthroughs, and occasionally support job site safety investigations.

Estimate base projects and change orders; recommend value‑engineering options.

Other duties as assigned by employer.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Systems Design, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.

5+ years of project management experience within the AEC industry.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
