Austin, TX Salary:

$70,000–$85,000 (based on experience) Position Description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with

3–4 years of experience in commercial roofing

to support multiple active projects and ensure operational excellence from planning through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who understands roofing systems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow into a Project Manager position. Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish Support scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, change orders, billing, POs, contracts, and warranty requests Ensure accurate drawings and revisions in collaboration with drafting and design contacts Work closely with Project Coordinators and Superintendents on assigned projects Maintain and manage project-specific technologies and control programs (e.g., PlanGrid, KeyStyle, QAQC, JHA) Promote and reinforce a safe jobsite environment Track job production including labor hours, material use, and quality control Attend jobsite meetings, pre-job meetings, and conduct routine site visits Maintain strong client and vendor relationships Process submittals, RFIs, and assist with job issue and conflict resolution Approve project invoicing and support financial tracking Mentor and support new team members on company processes and project procedures Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing junior team members Perform additional duties as required Position Requirements

Experience 3–4 years of experience

in commercial roofing or similar commercial construction role Previous Assistant Project Manager experience strongly preferred Skills Strong communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret construction documents Understanding of contracts, billings, submittals, RFIs, lien waivers, and insurance documentation Abilities & Requirements Valid driver’s license Authorized to work in the United States Ability to work 40+ hours per week as needed OSHA 30 certified (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and applications Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of project teams Demonstrated ability to train and support junior staff Education 5+ years of construction experience, including commercial roofing
