Our Monitoring Specialists take on an especially vital role to ensure the safety of our customers, including (1) properly responding to alarm signals from our customers’ alarm systems, (2) dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies, (3) providing world-class customer service to our customers in their time of need.
What We Offer:
Part-time & Full-time employment options; Flexible scheduling
Comprehensive Training: Paid, full-time, mandatory 5 weeks
Shift Pay Differentials, Biweekly Performance Bonus, Commissions, Additional Monthly/Quarterly Bonus
Training: Full Time, Paid, Mandatory 5 weeks
Starting Rate: $17.00/hr; Potential to grow to $18.25/hr within the first year
Additional $3.00/hr for hours worked during 3rd shift on site in our Lindon, UT office
Additional $1.00 per hour for bi‑lingual Spanish/English speakers
Bonuses: additional $3‑5/hr for top performers, additional $1.50/hr for average performers
Minimum Requirements:
You must be within commuting distance (50 miles) to our Provo, UT office
Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License (or equivalent) in all 50 states
High School Diploma or equivalent
Be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm
One year customer service experience preferred, but not required
A Day in the Life: New hires complete a 3‑week new hire classroom training followed by a 2‑week hands‑on training. Includes comprehensive training on both alarm standard operating procedures and how to assist customers in emergency situations. Dispatch police, fire or EMS when needed. Notify customers of non‑emergency signals. Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch. Receive and process inbound calls requesting information. Position requires some weekend and holiday, and shift work and may require mandatory overtime.

Work Environment Requirements:
Equipment will be provided by Vivint which you will need to pick up from our office in Provo, UT
You must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds
Must have a wired internet connection and provide your own ethernet cable
Provide a 360‑degree virtual tour of your workspace to meet department regulations
Your camera will be expected to be on during training and team meetings
Have a quiet and enclosed workspace away from others
Understand you cannot be the primary caregiver for any children, other people, or pets while on shift
