Job Description
Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives using lessons learned.
Prepare detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gain concurrence and approval from stakeholders.
Assess project risk and outline mitigation solutions, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Manage project costs, ensuring profitability and producing timely client billings and vendor invoices.
Monitor project status, risks, and changes, implementing risk mitigation and change management protocols as needed.
Ensure proper review of project scope by safety managers and implementation of safety plans.
Provide timely responses to audit corrective actions and verify adherence to engineering or construction standards.
Guide drafters, designers, engineers and contractors; develop resource plans and manage staffing, including procurement.
Communicate project deadlines, assignments and objectives; coach staff and elevate performance issues.
Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and managing expectations.
Identify opportunities for change orders and repeat business through superior execution and client relationships.
Collaborate with sales leaders to evaluate potential new work and support scoping and costing.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent directly related experience.
At least 10 years of related experience.
Valid PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required (20% of time).
Skills and Abilities
Experience with project management methodology, budget development, planning, control, and assurance.
Proficiency in project management software and finance/accounting concepts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In‑depth knowledge of project goals, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to handle large volumes of requests.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
