Combined, we manage a portfolio of over 50 multifamily communities with more than 12,000 apartment homes with a gross value in excess of $3 billion. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary: Oversees daily operations, financial performance, and staffing for all apartment communities in the assigned portfolio. Responsible for hiring, training, and managing personnel; driving occupancy; executing marketing plans; and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, maintenance, capital improvements, and asset preservation. Also manages collections, evictions, refunds, and ensures safety and security. Must uphold owner standards, follow company policies and direction, and act with fairness, consistency, and cost-awareness. Requires a minimum of 5+ years of multi-site residential management or senior-level experience. This position reports to the Regional Vice President. This is a remote/ hybrid position that requires travel throughout the region. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership

– Supervise at least one Regional Portfolio Manager and support hiring, training, and performance management for all property staff. Conduct regular feedback sessions and annual reviews. Budget & Financial Oversight

– Create and manage operating and capital budgets. Review financial reports, approve expenses, and identify opportunities to increase income and reduce costs. Operations & Compliance

– Ensure properties meet all legal, safety, and Fair Housing requirements. Oversee vendor bids, maintenance issues, and major landscaping work. Business Support

– Assist with new business opportunities, due diligence, takeovers, and dispositions. Advise corporate and regional teams on key operational decisions. Owner & Stakeholder Relations

– Serve as the main contact for owners and asset managers. Communicate updates, performance, and strategies for assigned portfolios. Marketing & Revenue Strategy

– Review pricing, approve marketing plans, and ensure competitive positioning through regular market analysis. Support occupancy and renewal goals. Resident Experience

– Monitor satisfaction, develop curb appeal strategies, and guide on-site teams to improve retention and service quality. Systems & Reporting

– Use property management software to track performance, manage reporting, and follow up on tasks such as payroll, invoices, and property conditions. Travel

– Travel as needed to support teams and operations in other regions.
