Position Summary
The Guest Shuttle Driver plays a key role in delivering warm, reliable transportation service to our guests, helping to create a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role is responsible for safely operating the hotel's passenger van (no CDL required), assisting guests with luggage, and maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor that reflects Hotel Viata's service culture.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, split shift from
7:00 AM - 10:00 AM
and
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Guest Transportation & Service Provide prompt and courteous shuttle service to and from designated locations, including local businesses, shops, and attractions Greet all guests warmly and assist with luggage, answering questions and offering local recommendations Ensure a safe, smooth, and pleasant ride while maintaining focus on timeliness and guest comfort Communicate estimated wait times and shuttle schedules to guests when applicable Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and operating properly Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the engineering team immediately Follow all safety policies and traffic laws while operating the hotel vehicle Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times Team Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the front desk and bell staff to coordinate timely pick-up and drop-off for guests Assist with luggage deliveries, valet support, or guest service needs during shuttle downtime Maintain accurate records of shuttle usage and any incidents, as needed Brand & Guest Experience
Represent Hotel Viata with a polished, professional appearance and service-focused attitude Share knowledge of the hotel, amenities, and surrounding area to enhance the guest's stay Uphold Hotel Viata's standards for service excellence, warmth, and hospitality at all times Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist guests as needed Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality Must be at least 21 years of age
