Sr Director of Security Software Engineering

Our mission is to ensure the security of our cloud services. We are hiring a seasoned security engineering professional to lead the development and architecture strategy of a new security platform. This Director-level role requires strong leadership and development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building teams and platforms to address security challenges in distributed systems, multi-tenant services, and large-scale infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Build and lead a team to prototype, design, and implement a new trusted infrastructure. Define and implement security solutions for innovative and challenging problems. Drive security tool development and adoption. Design and establish security and network mechanisms, along with best practices. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in software design and coding, preferably in Java. At least 6 years of engineering management or related experience. Experience managing network and security solution teams. Strong security and network expertise, focusing on: Network, Security, and Identity. Service architecture and Design Patterns. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in large cloud or internet software companies. Experience building new cloud development teams. Experience leading development of new cloud services. Deep knowledge of Application Security and Security platforms in Cloud infrastructure. Experience working with software teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders. Proficiency with Windows and Linux. Career Level - M4 Note: Certain US roles may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates. Salary Range (USD): $122,500 - $291,800 per annum, with potential bonuses, equity, and benefits.
