Principal Customer Engineer

to join their world-class technical team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll serve as the technical bridge between engineering and real-world deployment. In this role, you’ll: Represent and evangelize cutting-edge networking products to enterprise and hyperscale customers Own all aspects of customer engagement (demos, proofs of concept, deployment architecture, hardware/software integration, performance tuning, post-deployment support, etc.) Collaborate closely with internal ASIC, system, and software engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions Develop tools, documentation, and presentations that help customers deeply understand and adopt the technology Troubleshoot complex distributed system environments onsite and remotely This may be a good fit if you have: 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles, including pre-sales, post-sales, and field deployment 3+ years in ASIC, software, or system-level development Deep familiarity with Data Center, HPC, and AI/ML networking and architectures Knowledge of RDMA, NICs, switches, and kernel/user space networking stacks Proficiency in C/C++ and Python Ability to operate confidently across ASIC, system, and application layers Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable presenting to both engineering and executive audiences Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and communication libraries (NCCL, RCCL) is a plus Seniority level
