As a Data Scientist, you will evaluate and improve Google's products. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts on various problems. You will apply scientific and statistical methods to product creation, development, and improvement, with an understanding of end-user behaviors. You will work closely with developers and product managers, delivering on a roadmap to revolutionize the Google Search experience with the latest GenAI model capabilities. Your role involves voicing user needs, unlocking new use cases, and enhancing how billions interact with Google Search daily. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent. Individual pay within the range is influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can provide specific salary details during hiring. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders across projects to identify and clarify business or product questions. Translate these into analysis, evaluation metrics, or models. Design and evaluate models to mathematically express and solve defined problems, using custom or existing data infrastructure. Gather information on business goals, priorities, and organizational context, along with data infrastructure details. Own data collection, extraction, and compilation using tools like SQL, R, Python; ensure data quality and readiness for analysis.
