Digital Consultants is seeking a qualified Customer Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 support for our customer at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include endpoint device support services such as installation, deployment, upgrades, account setup, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software issues related to desktops, mobile workstations, printers, and other network devices. The primary role of Tier 1 is to gather customer information, analyze symptoms, and identify underlying issues. Duties Include: Analyze and develop solutions for computer system incidents. Document and record all project tasks and deliverables. Consult with users to determine system requirements, understand problems, and provide support via phone or self-service portals. Use independent judgment to diagnose, identify, and resolve problems holistically. Coordinate with product line and support specialists. Maintain accurate records and tracking databases for future analysis. Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend effective solutions. Collaborate with system administrators and provide input on service and project delivery. Follow up with customers to ensure functionality and satisfaction. Deliver professional support across all organizational levels. Requirements: Secret clearance High School Diploma/GED DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+) Experience: At least two years of specialized experience in hardware, software, information assurance, or business support. Experience in at least two of the following: documentation, end-user training, network support, information assurance, or administrative support. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform repetitive hand movements.
