Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles, and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs, and contraband. Our security devices are found in airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities.
We are seeking a
Field Service Technician
based in
Seattle, WA . The primary responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction with Rapiscan equipment by providing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support. The ideal candidate will have strong electronic repair skills and troubleshooting knowledge. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field. Meet contractual metrics and reporting requirements. Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls promptly. Ensure customer satisfaction at assigned sites. Complete scheduled maintenance on time. Document all maintenance and repairs accurately. Order, install, and return parts per regulations. Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety procedures. Complete training courses timely with passing grades. Uphold company values: Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, Teamwork. Report quality problems or defects for corrective actions. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications
Associate of Science in electronics or related field; military training or experience may substitute. Bachelor's preferred. 4+ years in field service, x-ray industry experience highly desired. Knowledge of electronic/mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams, schematics. Experience with test equipment (DVM, oscilloscope) and high-voltage/x-ray equipment preferred. Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated. Proficient with MS Office and learning specialized software. Team player, able to work under pressure, flexible schedule, willing to travel. Travel up to 75%, including overnight stays. Must pass background check, possess valid driver’s license, reliable transportation. Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, bend, sit, climb, and lift 25-50 lbs as specified. **This position includes a credit and education verification as part of the background check.** Review our benefits here:
