Job Overview:

The ANSP caseworker assists refugees and qualified immigrants to ensure a positive resettlement experience and promotes client self-sufficiency. Responsibilities include developing tailored resettlement and self-sufficiency plans using a range of services based on client needs, operating under close supervision with some independence in judgment and initiative. Major Responsibilities:

Provide support through social service referrals, medical access, and advocacy by assessing client needs. Develop and manage integration and self-sufficiency plans and timelines, managing client expectations. Equip clients with tools to meet short-term goals. Monitor and assess client progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed. Maintain case files and ensure timely data entry in both hard-copy and digital formats. Travel regularly within the service area. Participate in program meetings and team activities. Contribute to team engagement, inclusion, and cohesion efforts. Promote learning, dialogue, and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and uphold IRC values. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Working Relationships:

Reports to: Caseworker Supervisor Internal contacts include direct service staff across various programs. External contacts include community stakeholders, landlords, and community organizations. Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent experience. At least two years of human services experience, preferably with refugee populations. Effective communication in multicultural environments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and time management skills. Fluent in English; bilingual in Dari or Pashto preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel. Working Environment:

Combination of office work and travel within the service area, with some work outside regular hours. Additional Information:
