WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The General Sales Manager/Finance Director requires an experienced professional with comprehensive operational knowledge of automotive sales and finance operations, including floor process, internet process, customer service, inventory management, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and coaching skills, operate the department efficiently, control expenses, build customer loyalty, motivate team members, set and meet financial goals, and maintain proper records. Responsibilities: Oversee daily sales department operations. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate sales managers and staff. Manage appointment ratios and closing ratios. Ensure accurate gross profit calculations and deal submissions. Negotiate with banks for better deal terms. Review and optimize profitability of deals with lower credit scores. Secure various financing options for deals. Maximize product profit, aiming for at least 2 Products Per Deal (PPD). Manage F&I menu construction and CA execution. Report daily sales metrics to the General Manager. Utilize CRM fully and ensure adherence to sales processes. Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring high satisfaction. Audit online presence for lead generation. Requirements: 5 years automotive retail sales management experience. 3 years F&I Manager or Director experience. 4-year college degree or equivalent education preferred. Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Current State sales license or ability to obtain one. Physical Demands: Must meet physical requirements including manual dexterity, visual acuity, ability to sit/stand for long periods, maneuver around vehicles, and lift up to 50 pounds.
