Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Project Engineer will lead cross-functional teams from the quoting stage of a program to production launch. This individual will support our aggressive sales strategy of medical device and component manufacturing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded as management determines necessary. Review part designs, including drafts, side-actions, and shutoffs. Understand tooling, mold features based on part geometry, and mold construction basics; review mold designs. Have medical molding experience. Possess experience with High-Consistency Rubber, Gum Silicone, and/or Liquid Silicone molding. Experience with thermoplastic and/or thermoset injection molding is a plus. Understand good manufacturing processes and advanced quality planning (APQP), including DOE (Design of Experiments), capability studies, the "Steel Safe/Tolerance Safe" concept, automation concepts (press robots, automated assembly equipment), secondary operations (deflashing, assembly, testing, decorating), and the cost impact of options to select the best. Manage multiple projects effectively, including project organization, timeline management (using MS Project Gantt charts), managing multiple suppliers, and ensuring PPE safety (safety glasses and side shields). Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): Engineering degree (Mechanical or Plastics). Five (5) or more years of experience in plastic manufacturing. Excellent communication skills. Ability to represent the company effectively to customers and suppliers. Fundamental computer skills, working knowledge of business software (e.g., Excel, Word), and ability to use a standard ERP system (IQMS).
