A nationally ranked law firm is seeking a
Mid-Level Associate
to join its growing
Emerging Companies & Venture Capital
group in the Bay Area. The team advises innovative tech companies—from early-stage startups to established unicorns—on formation, venture financings, M&A, and day-to-day legal needs, as well as advising the funds that invest in them. Ideal Candidate: 3+ years
of ECVC or corporate transactional experience from a peer law firm
Strong deal experience with convertible notes, SAFEs, preferred equity financings, and exit transactions
Excellent academic credentials and professional references
Proficient in Excel; strong analytical and communication skills
CA bar membership (or eligibility to waive in) preferred
Skilled at managing complex relationships with founders, investors, and co-counsel
Key Responsibilities: Lead venture financings and assist clients through rapid-growth stages
Advise on entity formation, governance, and cap table structuring
Support buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
Collaborate with internal teams and outside investors
Compensation: $260,000 per year
