Presidio is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team to support our client base throughout the Tri-State region. This individual will lead small to large projects on their own or as part of a team, including planning, design, and implementation of complex network and security engagements. This is a consultative role providing network engineering services on project work and effectively managing the implementation process from design to customer acceptance. Travel Requirements

In this role, you will be expected to travel up to 25%. It will be based in the Tri-State region. Key Responsibilities

Perform project-based engineering, design, staging, installation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of data/security networks. Lead complex, large-scale Network and Security projects. Create detailed low-level designs that align with business strategy, customer budgets, and operational support capabilities. Conduct network discoveries. Perform Network and Security Assessments. Present documentation and engagement deliverables to customers. Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management, and other teams. Resolve complex issues and assist team members with deployments. Work with junior engineers to implement secure network solutions. Execute network maintenance procedures with minimal downtime. Required Qualifications

Expertise in complex multi-protocol routing and switching solutions. Knowledge of security parameters and device hardening. Experience with core routing and switching platforms, especially Cisco, including design, configuration, troubleshooting, and best practices. Network design skills, including IP addressing. Proficiency with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, including protocol redistribution and loop prevention. Understanding of TCP/IP stack, OSI model, and TCP/UDP services. Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix). Experience deploying SDWAN solutions (Viptela, Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma). Security solutions experience (Palo Alto, Cisco Security products). Strong troubleshooting skills in routing and switching. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military. Minimum 8 years of project implementation experience. Additional/Preferred Skills/Certifications

Knowledge of Fortinet products. Experience with Arista and Aruba networking solutions. Automation and scripting skills (Python, TCL). Active Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE preferred). Active Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE, others preferred). Your future at Presidio
