Your Impact
The Derivs Automation team builds algorithms, smart order routers, order management systems, and internalization solutions for US Listed Options trading. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from clients, designing and developing trading strategies and platforms, and monitoring trading performance. The team interfaces regularly with clients, sales, trading, compliance, legal, and other engineering teams, playing a critical role in driving our Electronic Options Trading business.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance, adaptable trading platform for internal and external clients.
Understand US Options market structure, regulations, exchange services, and implement necessary changes.
Communicate with traders, sales, clients, and compliance officers regarding new features and existing functionalities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Java or C++.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Experience developing order management systems and exchange connectivity for US markets.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Event Sourcing architectures.
Knowledge of JVM internals and tuning for low-latency performance.
Experience building C++/Java systems with strict low-latency and deterministic performance requirements.
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York-based position ranges from $150,000 to $300,000, with potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
