Overview The Dental One Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Springfield, VA to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Full‑time Monday–Friday 7 am–4 pm. Position Overview As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team supporting the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience. Apply today to join our mission‑driven team! Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care. Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed). Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications Completion of a one‑year certified dental assistant program. 1 year or more on‑the‑job experience (with supporting documentation). X‑ray certification. Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended. High school diploma or equivalent. Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
