REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year - Experience working independently in a high volume center. Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Adult Acute Care, ER, ICU, 2- D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, Philips, Isolation Precautions, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, EPIC Required Certs: ARDMS RDCS AE, BLS, CCI, RDCS

JOB DETAILS: Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:8 Visits/Day: 9 Shift: Days - Staff rotates through 0600-1430 and 0800-1630. Unit Self Schedules but have possibility of working either shift pending what's still available Float Requirement: Coverage may be needed in our main outpatient department, but main duties will be hospital based. Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per contract

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Adult patients in an acute care setting. We cover advanced pathology and patient populations, and complete the majority of the exams bedside. We are an accredited facility and follow ASE guidelines for protocols and contrast use.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Advanced devices such as Impella, LVAD, ECMO, structural heart (TAVR, MitraClip, LAAO). Procedural experience not required but preferred. Pre/post device imaging experience required.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: We have mostly Phillips machines and will require competency using those. Client is mainly at our outpatient facility.

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Epic, ScImage (PACS)

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours; 3 days facility/protocol training, additional prelim reporting as needed
