R&D FSQA Supplier Integration Lead
Will play a critical role in supporting the R&D Foods Category team with the integration of the Sabra Foods business into PepsiCo’s supply base. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that all ingredient suppliers meet PepsiCo’s Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) standards and external regulatory requirements during the transition.
The role focuses on evaluating, approving, and verifying ingredient suppliers to ensure a seamless integration of Sabra’s portfolio into PepsiCo systems. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, leading on-site supplier visits, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify and close compliance gaps.
Responsibilities
Supporting the R&D Foods Category team in completing ingredient supplier Q&FS assessments and approvals for Sabra Foods business integration and other supplier compliance programs.
Evaluating supplier quality programs and FSMA verification to ensure compliance with PepsiCo internal supplier standards and external regulatory requirements.
Leading the verification of NA ingredient suppliers food safety and quality programs covering but not limited to Sanitation, PSIP, PEMP, Chemical Contaminants, Allergen Control, Upon Request, Surveillance Hazards.
Traveling to prioritized supplier sites to audit/verify any risks and work with suppliers to mitigate and close CAPAs.
Creating, reporting and tracking leading and lagging metrics for Food safety and quality KPIs for identified suppliers to ensure they are performing up to standards and closing gaps.
Compensation And Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's in Food Science or Engineering
5-7 years of R&D/Supply Chain experience in Quality & Food Safety
Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Standards for Food and Beverage Industry.
Expert knowledge of Supplier Quality Programmed and PepsiCo Global Quality Standards
Lead Assessor Auditor competency
Strong communicator to ensure stakeholder alignment across projects/activities
Decision-making skills to enable supplier approvals/issue resolution
Self-starter to manage detailed day-to-day supplier/material activities
Flexibility to travel extensively for supplier audits and adapt.
Agility and prioritizing skills in relation to regions where multiple and frequent changes in suppliers’ sites due to shutdowns/movement of suppliers.
Good interpersonal skills and collaboration with other PepsiCo functions beyond quality.
Technical expertise in different material types and risks.
HACCP, FSMA knowledge and skills.
Excellent competency in root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues.
Travel up to 75%.
