The Role We are searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our collaborative and enthusiastic Boston office, joining a media team delivering standout advertising campaigns across a range of clients.

As an Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include planning and buying across all media channels, with a primary focus on digital. You will develop strategic recommendations, build strong relationships, innovate impactful solutions, and develop bespoke media plans while attending client meetings. Your excellent client management skills will ensure outstanding outcomes.

You should be passionate about both media and technology, digitally fluent, and understand the complexities of a fragmented media landscape to deliver success. Your team will work together to develop and execute outstanding integrated media strategies and programmes.

Proven project management skills and client‑facing experience are a must – you’re known for your ability to absorb information, learn a business and drive change.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and buy relevant media and present media proposals, including timings and cost breakdown. Use analysis to drive decisions in a way that yields sustained, measurable results.

Lead media strategy development and client presentations, including channel and budget allocation.

Maintain strong relationships with assigned clients. Proactively communicate to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns. Understand their goals, objectives, and challenges, and serve as a trusted advisor.

Lead the end‑to‑end execution of client projects. Collaborate with internal teams to develop project timelines, deliverables, and ensure on‑time and within‑budget completion.

Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. Provide clients with accurate budget updates.

Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or expanding existing projects to drive revenue growth.

Maintain a deep understanding of your clients’ industry/segment, audience profiles, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with creative, media, and technology teams to ensure all aspects of client projects are executed effectively and seamlessly.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Lead by example, sharing industry knowledge and best practices. Train new hires on internal tools and processes.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience working in a similar media buying/planning role, preferably at an agency.

Strong digital media experience particularly display, content marketing and social media.

Proven ability to create outstanding media strategies.

The skills to handle multiple accounts and projects, ensuring client retention.

An interest and passion in analysing your campaigns and pushing for the best outcome.

Experience liaising with and presenting recommendations to clients; excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Ability to recognise good media opportunities and develop new ideas/concepts.

Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites, specifically Excel.
