Position We are currently seeking an Appian Architect for a full-time, remote position supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We are an organization that is committed to your growth and success in the IT software development industry and looking for an Appian Architect who is ready to assume leadership responsibilities in a supportive team environment that is focused on your success as a function of client success.
Responsibilities
Work closely with clients, product owners, and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions that best meet business needs.
Plan, lead, and manage resources on complex Appian software development projects.
Mentor and develop Junior and Senior Appian Developers and maintain technical knowledge.
Required Skills
4 to 5 years leading Appian software development teams.
Have previous experience with database and system integration.
8 to 10 years working on software development engagements (Appian preferred)
Possess experience in an Agile environment.
Education Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, etc.

Have a variety of technical expertise including process modeling, user interface design, and data modeling.
Able to identify and evaluate new or alternate technologies to fill technical or functional gaps of the applications.
Possess a higher level of experience in requirement discovery, BPM Best practices, and the design and build of BPM applications, and can lead a team in these activities.
Can manage the finances of the assigned work area (client-facing or internal).
Worked in a variety of industries and leveraged their diverse experience throughout project planning, execution, and delivery.
Can assess how the created/updated Appian objects and pull requests fit into the bigger picture and spot major logic errors.
Ability to communicate technical requirements across enterprise applications.
