Description
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and Queens is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Physiatrist. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated physician who wishes to work with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.
Responsibilities
Provide services to ambulatory patients and inpatient consults for neonates at both hospitals.
Participate in both Pediatric departments while being appointed in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
The Selected Candidate Will Have The Following Clinical Responsibilities
Two to three days per week of ambulatory sessions at Elmhurst Hospital Center
Inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Elmhurst
One to two days per week of ambulatory sessions at Queens Hospital Center
Inpatient consults in the Level 3 NICU at Queens
Teaching of residents and medical students
Qualifications
MD/DO degree
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Psychiatry
Fellowship trained Pediatric Physiatrist
Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
Compensation
Faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. Salary for this position is $210,000 plus benefits and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
