Summary of Work
The Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Project Director will provide direct oversight of all SAMHSA CCBHC standards and guidelines within the Heartland Family Service Nebraska to ensure compliance. The position includes supervisory responsibilities and collaboration with program directors and staff. The role identifies client needs, connects individuals to appropriate supports, and monitors outcomes to strengthen continuity of care and build long‑term sustainability for the CCBHC program. Assignments require a wide knowledge base, decision‑making, problem solving, detail orientation, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation: $50,900 – $64,394 per year (salary determined by total years of relevant experience).
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in human services, psychology, social work, sociology or a related field preferred.
Five or more years’ experience in related field.
Behavioral Health administrative and supervisory experience preferred.
Project Management Experience.
Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance oversight for Care Team Specialists and program staff.
Collaborate with Program Directors and Staff to maximize efficiency of CCBHC grant funds and ensure best client care.
Lead implementation of care coordination services across the agency, focusing on targeted case management.
Oversee team assignments, treatment planning, and day‑to‑day problem solving.
Assist with human resources responsibilities for hiring, including screening applicants, setting up interviews, checking references, and managing recruiting systems.
Hires, supervises, monitors, trains, evaluates, and develops program staff.
Responsible for grant implementation in the Behavioral Health Programs.
Participate in agency‑wide quality improvement teams and workgroups, guiding projects and policies related to CCBHC grant.
Monitor and supervise data collection and analysis required by the grant.
Complete all required reports for the CCBHC grant.
Review data to ensure the project runs according to guidelines and make adjustments as needed.
Update, develop, and complete program forms.
Monitor and manage deadlines for reports, projects, and tasks.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, organize agendas.
Network with community providers and other agency programs to assist clients and promote Heartland Family Service.
Assist Program Directors and Grants Director with research for funding and grant writing.
Local travel: 25%; all other travel
Create, maintain, and share a dynamic self‑care plan.
Strive to connect the agency with the larger community to support fundraising.
Essential functions performed on the company physical work site.
