The Director of Nursing is a licensed professional responsible for managing, administering, and coordinating nursing operations in facilities with more than 1,800 patient visits per month. The role includes strategic planning, budget oversight, and quality management while supporting clinical care activities. Key Responsibilities

Direct nursing department activities, oversee schedules and staffing to meet patient care needs and maintain productivity. Implement centralized scheduling model with Area Director of Nursing. Ensure compliance with company policies, state/federal regulations, accreditation standards, and agency policy. Oversee nursing staff development, performance, and selection. Collaborate with Nurse Manager/Supervisor to evaluate nursing personnel and address HR issues. Maintain professional practice standards and supply formulary compliance. Assist Operations Leadership with budgets, approvals, and financial performance. Coordinate patient services with pharmacy, delivery, and reimbursement departments. Procure medical supplies within budget constraints. Analyze nursing operational and financial data to support process improvements. Ensure patient suitability assessments for home care and provide practitioner education. Manage on‑call responsibilities and act as clinical resource. Supervisory Responsibilities

Has supervisory responsibilities: hiring, promotions, pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc. Education & Experience

Registered Nurse with current state license. Minimum 6 years of home health/infusion care experience. Minimum 3 years in a nursing leadership role within a home care setting. Basic Qualifications & Interests (BQIs)

Knowledge of local, state, federal, accrediting body, and OSHA regulations. Proficiency in clinical management of home infusion patients, documentation, and billing. Strong time‑management and multi‑project coordination skills. Experience training and developing clinical services processes. Experience planning and managing departmental budgets. Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). For California: BSN or equivalent with 3+ years in a home health agency or RN with 4+ years in a home health agency; at least one year in a supervisory/administrative role. Travel Requirements

Willing to travel up to 40% of the time for business purposes within and outside the state. Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

BSN with CRNI or other professional certification and advanced management training. At least 4 years of experience in a home health/infusion setting. Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $132,267.37 – $220,445.61, adjusted for education, experience, and market data.
