Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients Conduct patient evaluations and diagnostic tests Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Stay current with advancements in cardiology practices and technologies Participate in ongoing professional development and training Requirements
Medical degree (MD) with a specialization in Cardiology Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction Previous experience as a cardiologist preferred Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules Schedule and Setting
Schedule: 24‑hour call shifts, 3‑7 days per month Setting: Inpatient/EMTALA call Patient Population: Adults Duties: Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests) Required Procedures: Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms Support Staff: 2 interventional cardiologists EMR: Epic Cupid Board certification required Paid travel & expenses
