Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager – Agentic Care , you will design, build, and ship full-stack agentic AI experiences that make the care journey adaptive and accessible, empowering patients and providers. You’ll collaborate with product, design, clinical, and AI/ML platform teams to turn ideas into safe, measurable, production features—from rapid prototypes to reliable services, APIs, and UIs. Candidates must be based in the Salt Lake City metro area and willing to commute 2-3 days a week when this role transitions to a
hybrid schedule in 2026 .
What You’ll Do
Own the technical design and delivery of full-stack agentic AI systems
Design and build scalable full-stack services using Ruby on Rails, Python, and React
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve the care delivery experience
Expand and maintain existing web applications and AI services
Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions, code reviews, and system planning
Advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability
Participate in an on‑call rotation to support system reliability and respond to production issues
Collaborate flexibly across time zones, as needed, to support distributed teams and stakeholders
What Success Looks Like
Deliver projects on time, within scope, and with high stakeholder satisfaction
Maintain high system uptime and low defect rates through strong testing and observability practices
Partner effectively with product, design, data, or other teams, contributing meaningfully to team goals and alignment
Lead high-quality code reviews and technical discussions
Influence team velocity and architecture through mentorship and planning contributions
Drive continual improvement in team delivery, reliability, and system maintainability
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of professional software development with a full‑stack focus
Production experience building and shipping LLM systems
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Python, and TypeScript/React
Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, ambiguous 0 to 1 environment
Curious, growth‑minded, and eager to learn new applied‑AI tools and methods
Proven track record leading complex projects end‑to‑end with minimal oversight
Effective collaborator on cross‑functional Agile teams
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $194,150, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
