Responsibilities
You will solve infrastructure related problems with code (with a focus on reusability) and build compute capacity, work on Kubernetes deployments at scale.
You will be responsible for leading key projects in design, development, and post‑release support of the Salesforce platform and tools that are used to support our government customers.
You will collaborate with internal teams for efficient iterations of automated CI/CD pipelines with the goal of maintaining production environments.
You will deploy software patches, new platform releases and verify the successful implementation by validating deployments, monitoring system performance and resolving identified issues.
You will get a chance to understand how things work with a large‑scale production infrastructure within third‑party cloud service providers.
You will demonstrate a sense of autonomy and urgency for ownership of your areas and proactively take accountability for progress forward.
You will transform human‑heavy processes into automated solutions, focusing on reliability and repeatability.

Required Skills
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
2+ years of DevOps or data center experience or equivalent technical background.
2+ years Linux system engineering experience.
2+ years developing or infrastructure and application security for highly sensitive customer data & environments (IAM, CI/CD, PKI).
Experience with scripting/programming languages (Shell, Python, Golang, Ruby, Java, JavaScript).
Experience with log management and analytics tools such as Splunk/ELK.
Experience with software development practices (Agile practices preferred).
A continuous learner, critical thinker and problem solver who adapts to new challenges in a fast‑paced and growing environment.
A teammate with great communication skills both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
2+ years demonstrating ability working within and building on a public cloud (AWS preferred) or equivalent experience.
2+ years experience deploying with a CI orchestration service.
Experience managing large‑scale web applications in production including operating, supporting and applying diagnostic techniques to identify, triage and remediate the application/platform.
Experience with TCP/IP networking protocols and components as implemented in IaaS (e.g., VPC, TGW, route tables, security groups).
Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Graphite, Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Zabbix.
Experience deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).
Knowledge of or experience working with cloud technologies/environments – AWS and/or Salesforce certifications.
This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position. This position requires a USA TS/SCI with Polygraph security access level.
