Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health status and treatment needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including extractions, prosthodontics, and preventive care.
Utilize four‑handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Fabricate dental appliances and restorations as needed.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Keep detailed records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection‑control practices.
Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with dental fabrication processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.
